How to Reset Printer Brother

 steps to resetter
 1. Unplug the printer power cable. 
 2. Hold down the "OK (Menu / SET)" (not released) and then reconnect the printer power cable. 
 3. Will exit the error message "Machine error 46" screen monitor.  
 4. After exiting the error display. Press the "up arrow" (^) will display several choices of numbers on the screen. 
 5. Select No. "8" and then press the OK button.
 6. Press the up arrow key (^) and then select no zero (0) and then press the OK button again, the printer will be in a state Service Mode.  
 7. Press the "Mono key" 25 times or to exit the message "Purge Counter Appear". 
 8. Press the up arrow key again (^) and then select No. "2" and then press "OK".  
 9. Press the up arrow key again (^) and then select No. "7" and then press "OK".  
 10. Press the up arrow again (^) and then select No. "8" and then press "OK".  
 11. Press the up arrow key again (^) and then select No. "3" and then press "OK".  
 12. Purge Counter will reset to zero (0).  
 13. Then press the "Stop / Exit".  
 14. The error message "Machine Error 46" will come out again.  
 15. Press the up arrow key again (^) and then select no "9" and then press "OK".  
 16. Once again press the up arrow (^) and then select no "9" and then press "OK". 
 17. The printer will reset and wait for it to come back to life / standby status. Good luck.
